Sedation Dental Treatment

It is a state of sleep whose depth can be adjusted in a controlled manner by preserving almost all reflexes of the patient with a number of drugs used. It is a method applied by an anaesthesiologist.

Sedation in dentistry is a safe method applied especially in patients who have a fear of dentists and who do not allow dental treatment both mentally and psychologically.

The sedation method, which does not cause any side effects in the patient, is a method that can be applied in both children and adults. With intravenous (intravenous) agents applied in adults, many dental treatments can be performed in a single session and the patient can easily go home after the treatment. However, the patient should be accompanied by a relative and should avoid movements that will lose strength, driving a car and rest. With this method, the patient can regain his/her health without feeling any pain in a safe and comfortable environment away from the feeling of fear.

When this method is applied in children, it prevents psychological traumas that will leave deep scars in the subconscious of children who are especially prone to fear, because the procedures performed are almost never remembered.
